Kelly Hayden, MA, LPC, founder of Tri-State Counseling & Coaching. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio and Certified Coach. She has over 12 years of experience in counseling, coaching, and social work. In August of 2017, she left corporate work and opened Tri-State Counseling & Coaching, LLC to blend her professional experience within both the private and business sectors.
Kelly has dedicated herself and her career to helping others reach their God-given potential. Her practice is designed to provide support and ongoing guidance through appropriate counseling and coaching. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic and centers on meeting the client’s need; understanding that each person is unique with their own perceptions based on personal life experiences. She believes in the mind/body connection and treating the whole individual in order to work toward a healthy, happy, and thriving life.
Kelly resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and three children. She has a passion for families and being a positive vessel of change within her community as seen through her involvement in infertility support groups, the development of school-based and organizational programming focusing on racial awareness and equity, women’s bible study leadership, and various volunteer roles.
She received her graduate degree from Liberty University a faith based university in Lynchburg, VA. The program provided a collaboration of theory and theology which she offers as a resource to clients upon request. This unique education combined with her own personal walk with Christ allows faith to become a part of sessions as a personal strength that can impact healing and stretching individual potential.
“I work with my clients to identify personal strengths and inspirations that are crucial in making lasting change. We all have these inner gifts but often do not know how to tap into them for stretching our potential.” Kelly says.
